THE PROJECT
AN EXISTING FACTORY. A NEW IDENTITY.
Rajadhani Ice Cream Factory is an approximately 3,000 sq.ft. industrial renovation and extension project at Kandanad, Ernakulam.
The project began with an existing ice cream production facility that needed more than a cosmetic repair. The intervention involved adapting the existing building, extending its usable capacity and creating a more coherent architectural identity for the facility.
TBC's role in the project is consultancy, bringing the renovation, extension and building makeover together as one coordinated design response.

THE APPROACH
NOT A NEW FACTORY. A NEW CHAPTER FOR THE EXISTING ONE.
Instead of replacing the existing facility, the project works with what is already there.
The new intervention reorganises and extends the building while giving the factory a clearer contemporary identity suited to its industrial use.
