Perched just meters from the roaring waves, Sailors Home is a true story of revival and reinvention. What once stood as an aging, 800 sq.ft. sea-facing structure — weathered by time, salt, and wind — has now been reborn as a stunning 1800 sq.ft—coastal resort, crafted to endure the elements while offering timeless comfort.
This project was more than a renovation. It was a challenge that demanded innovation at every step. Weak soil, constant coastal wind, salt-heavy air, and a 25-year-old foundation meant traditional construction methods were off the table. Yet, within just 3 months, a new vision emerged — light, durable, storm-ready, and striking.
Sailors Home now symbolizes what’s possible when smart engineering meets thoughtful architecture—an iconic presence on the coastline that feels both grounded and free.

Design Statement:
Not just a frame. It’s the face of Sailors Home.
The A-Frame FaçadeTo make Sailors Home truly stand out along the coastline, we introduced a bold A-frame structure in the front elevation. It’s not just architectural eye candy — it’s a calculated response to wind direction and site orientation. Built on a separate column footing, the A-frame allows wind to pass through instead of pushing against it, improving both structure life and occupant comfort.
